Review la2 Fly Reel
Excellent fly reel with very smooth drag, very solid construction and the clicker is a very pleasant sound not too noisy. I am looking forward to fishing the Pecos River in New Mexico in July.

PERFECT REEL FOR BIG TROUT
This is the perfect reel for larger trout, very smooth drag, large drag knob easily adjusts with cold fingers, plenty of room for 150 yds. of 30# backing. The Fly Shop put backing on before shipping the reel - a very nice touch! After the first one bought a couple of spools for spare lines. Been telling my friends about what a great reel it is to us and balances perfectly with a 9' fly rod. Can't say enough good about it. Have about a dozen other reels purchased the last 30 years or so, and now the L2a will be my first choice for all trout fishing.
