The 5262 is a good multi purpose hook that is used from small buggers to larger nymphs. This is a good hook for tying nymphs like stones where a slightly longer hook shank is needed or bugger style patterns. There have been even a few larger attractor dries tied on this hook that have good amounts of foam or hair. Some of the more common flies that are tied on this hook are:
