Tiemco hooks are much better
This review applies to all TFS-brand hooks. I have used a variety of models in a pinch when the equivalent Tiemco or Umpqua model was unavailable. TFS-brand hooks have always had worse shape, weight, and durability.

Fly Shop 5212 hook
A fine quality hook for the price but in comparison to the TMC 5212, it doesn't seem to be the actual 2x long length. That said, it serves it's purpose for me, which is a slightly longer than standard dry fly hook.

TFS Hooks
These hooks are legit!!! Not the cheap chinese knockoffs that get smashed in the vice. They're strong as the tmc5212 at less than half the price.
