A much heavier and preferred hook when tying larger nymphs like October Caddis or Stoneflies. Also can be used to tie larger midge patterns commonly used on stillwaters. The 2305 is a great choice when targeting steelhead with standard trout patterns because the hook is less likely to bend out. Some of the more common flies that are tied on this hook are:

Tiemco knock off at a very good price.
I used TFS 200R’s for an order of 14 dozen Norm Woods Specials for a Deschutes River guide. Very pleased with the quality. The 2305 appears to be of the same caliber.

Versatile quality
These are great hooks. Versatile, sticky sharp and will compete with much higher end names. I am an obsessed fly tyier.
