Product Description
The 2302 is a good choice for tying stonefly and larger caddis nymphs or dries. Is a very universal hook because it is not too heavy or too light. The bend gives flies a great profile and the down eye provides better landing capabilities than the 200R. Most employees here at The Fly Shop prefer this hook over the 200R. Some of the more common flies that are tied on this hook are:
* Mercer's Beaded Biot Poxy Golden Stone
* Mercer's TB October Caddis Pupa
* Mercer's Poxyback Mayfly Series

2302 Hooks
These make great chironomid tying hooks. Thin, strong, nice curve in the shank and the down eye holds beads at correct angle to match with the curve. And, these are strong enough to land Pyramid Lake Cutthroat trout even down to as small as size 16.

I started using your hooks when they were 1/2 the price, and still satisfied
