TB Drowned Trico Spinner - #20

I have yet to receive this order. It’s been on back order for about 2 weeks.

This is a great Trico pattern for hopper and droppers because of the tungsten bead. I put it at the bottom, under a Chubby Chernobyl and a bigger tungsten nymph, and the trout respond by tugging at my line and making me a happy camper. Valdereee valderaaa!

This is perfect for hopping and dropping in a trico hatch. The tungsten bead helps it sink. I use it as my second (or third) dropper below a hopper. The typical experience here in Northwest Colorado is seeing trout munching Trico spinners on the surface, but if I try to float a dry it gets mixed in with a thousand real spinners and I’m out of luck. By sinking my fly as deep as possible there’s way less competition and, hopefully, I’m a happy fisherman.
