Product Description
Perhaps the best indicator nymph taper made!
The Fly Shop® and Scientific Anglers teamed up to design this floating fly line for indicator nymph fishing.
The results were better than we could have hoped for and the taper is now available in both the Sharkwave and the Mastery finish.
Tossing large indicators and split shot is a lot easier with the long, 60'+ belly that is built into this taper, whether roll casting, mending, single-hand spey casting, or lining up a switch rod, there's no better choice than one of the Anadro Floating fly lines.
Our guides and staff have used the Anadro floating fly lines extensively on the Trinity and Sacramento Rivers for trout and steelhead.
- For extended line control, long-distance casting, and turning over heavy rigs

Anadro
I bought 2 of these 5 weight Anadro lines this spring. Was looking for a longer tear taper to promote both distance casting and roll casting and that is what I was recommended by your person I talked too. The lines sure have that and turn over large stuff very well. Was used to the old XXD Scientific Anglers lines. Am a little concerned that for use with dry flies they come on stronger than I am used and turn it over pretty hard. Could use some advice. Maybe drop down from 3x 9 ft leader to 4x and add some 5x and 6x tippet to slow down the energy? Any recommendations, please advise. I typically fish with size 16 BWO or Mercer’s missing link but sometimes larger nymphs and streamers.
