The Fly Shop's TFS 2500 Hooks

A newer style hook that's popularity has risen the last couple of years for tying mayfly nymphs, midges, caddis pupa, and eggs. This is also a great stinger hook used for smaller articulated summer steelhead flies. This point is much sharper than a standard scud style hook and is slightly heavier and stronger than similar styles of hooks. Most of our custom tied Zebra Midges are on this hook. Some of the more common flies that are tied on this hook are:

*  TBRL Copper John
*  Pale Alevin
