This fly floats like a cork and is easy to see from a distance or in rough water. Each of the clipped deer hair fibers is a different reflection facet (like a mirrored disco ball). It works well as a sedge (motorboat caddis), shines as the top of a dropper setup, and all 'round caddis imitation. A good imitation, in large sizes, of the October caddis (dicosmoecus).
