Blue Copper John
A few years ago a couple of avid fishermen from Denver arrived in Steamboat Springs after fishing a bunch of Colorado rivers. It was September, and they told me that the fly that caught the most fish on their journey was this Blue Copper John. When matching the hatch isn’t convincing the Rainbows I tie one on!
