Cocoons Photochromic sunglasses feature Polaré® polarized lenses designed to adapt to varying light conditions, providing optimal light transmission while eliminating glare from dawn until dusk.   Polaré polarized photochromic lenses are UV activated, meaning that as  UV levels  increase, the lens tint becomes darker to maintain a comfortable level of  light transmission. When UV levels decrease, the lenses become lighter, allowing additional visible light to reach the eyes, while continuing to eliminate blinding glare that can be present even under low light conditions.

Cocoons Photochromic sunglasses are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes to fit comfortably and securely over almost any prescription eyewear frame. The patented frames are constructed from extremely durable ballistic nylon and feature adjustable Flex2Fit&reg temples that enable each wearer to custom contour the temple shape for an exact fit. All Cocoons sunglasses feature a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.

• Polaré^® Polarized Photochromic Lenses Available in Gray or Amber tints. Polaré polarized photochromic lenses adapt to changing light conditions by lightening and darkening when exposed to UV. Prior to darkening, the lenses transmit 30-32% of visible light. Once they are fully activated, the lenses reduce light transmission to 10-12%. This unique feature eliminates the need to switch from one pair of sunglasses to another as light conditions fluctuate.
• Maximum Comfort and Durability Cocoons frames are constructed from Ballistic Nylon and feature a supple soft touch finish for the ultimate combination of durability and comfort. Cocoons Photochromic are available in black frames only.
