Product Description

This conehead version of the Muddler will get down deep, where the big fish like to feed. This is a great swinging pattern for large trout and can also be used for smallmouth and largemouth bass.

FLY RECIPE:

HOOK:  TFS 5263, size 4
THREAD:  Ultra Tying Thread, tan
BODY WEIGHT:  Lead-Free Wire, 10-15 wraps of .025
TAIL:  Krystal Flash, pearl - 10-12 strands
BODY:  Mylar Tubing, pearl - or dubbed silver holographic Lite Brite, as preferred
THROAT:  Lite Brite, red
LEGS:  Round Rubber Hackle, white - medium
WING:  Rabbit Fur Strip, olive - straight
COLLAR:  Elk Body Hair, spun
CONE:  Cone Head, gold
