Product Description
Seldom seen outside the Golden State. These straight, thin, hair fibers have very little underfur because of the temperate climate. Fiber tips match evenly on most patches. The thin fibers are perfect for deer hair posts, elk hair caddis and Comparadun wings.

Doesn't Flare Well
This hair in dun was nicely dyed, but disappointing. For me excellent comparadun hair has relatively short abruptly tapered tips that still have some thickness. This provides tip diameter that is soft and flares easily. The hair I received has fine, wispy tips that is not favorable to flaring and has little hollowness and buoyancy. After a half dozen flies, I stopped using it.

Lose the Hair Stacker
Excellent for small comparaduns and hair wings. Tips are matched and stacking not necessary. Light colored tips in natural obviates need for bleaching.
