Beadhead assassin fly
These have become my go to fly the last couple of years when fishing for steelhead he last couple of years on the Klamath river. Both the copper or gold head seem to work equally well.

bh ASSASSIN
For whatever reason, this simple pattern catches its fair share of Trinity and Klamath steelhead. Scandi line with a longer mono leader.

BH Assassin
Always one of my go to swinging flies for the Trinity. Fished on a floating line with a 9-12' leader, this fly can be swung near the surface or cast up stream a bit and allowed to sink into the slots.

Bead Head Assassin
Used this fly on the Rogue and the Klamath rivers in September for Steelhead and learned my lesson. Never buy just one of any fly because the single fly will be the one that gets hammered. Love this fly because in mid day when the fish were off the bite I was still picking up fish with this fly.
