Bass and bluegill poppers
These flies are beautifully done and I’m really looking forward to using them this summer in Northern Michigan. I have developed so other patterns that have proven to be just what are necessary too slay the gills (catch and release 90% of the time), pictures to follow,

Bluegill popper
Look awesome still to cold to use but I bet they will be eaten

Mini-poppers
I went to a local Regional Park lake for small bass/bluegill & the popper was the ticket! Well-made but the barb is a hazard (went nicely into my finger). I should have crimped it but barbless hooks are readily available these days.
