Many of the manufactured tippet spools either don't have spool keeps with grommets, or they get lost or broken. These new elastic bands by a small manufacturer in Oregon are just the answer. Simply stretch your new Spool-Hands around your line or material spool, pull bead away from spool and insert line or material through the bead, grasp spool between your thumb and forefinger pull out line and allow spool to spin between your fingers. Cut off the amount you need and lay the spool down. Spool-Hands will hold the line while you get on with the task at hand.
