Stillwater secrets
This is the best book on Stillwater fly fishing. Even if you are moving water fly fisherman you can learn a lot from this block. I think one of the key things is he not only tells you how to tie the flies he tells you the reason why use the materials and how to retrieve the fly. I like it because there’s some unorthodox ways of doing things which I have tried now and then in my fly fishing in the last 30 years. It’s great to revisit them try them again and have success. I would buy the book from a fly shop. It is reasonably priced and I like supporting independent businesses.
