Product Description
The bunny leech fly pattern is a large streamer-style fly. The leech is easy to tie and only requires a few materials. The bunny leech does not actually imitate an average leech because the profile is too large. It imitates a large Alaskan or Canadian leech but not the smaller versions found in the lower 48 states. The pattern does remain effective in most waters and is a standard in many fly boxes.
Cross cut and Zonker style rabbit strips give this fly a lifelike pulsating action proven to stimulate strikes from trout, salmon, bass, and a variety of other species.

Egg Sucking Bunny Leech
I'm starting to understand the fly naming code: Bunny means a narrow strip of rabbit fur, Leech is something you'll see drifting through cool clear water, probably a tasty morsel, and Egg Sucking is from "Dukes of Hazard" or something. I'm making plans to fish for summer steelhead within a week or two and this is coming with. Stay tuned.
