Product Description
Pine squirrel doesn’t absorb water like rabbit and is much easier to cast when wet. It’s a wonderful alternative to rabbit particularly for smaller leech and streamer patterns . Beautifully dyed, pre-cut in narrow strips, and soft-tanned so they’re very easy to palmer for bodies or use as undulating tails.

Pine Squirrel Zonker Strips
Very good product. I tied up a bunch of cone head streamers (slump busters). You get plenty of material, enough for many flies. Will buy again when needed.

Pine Squirrel
I’m always hesitant to purchase natural materials sight unseen. But kudos to Hareline and TFS: these are primo!

Waspi Pine squirrel zonkers
I have bought dozens of different products for many hundreds of dollars (or more) from TFS. I like the shop, the people, the service... all top notch But the Waspi-brand pine squirrel zonkers (2 bags of 6 each) were sub-par. The length of the strips were inconsistent (between 3" and 6"), as was the coloration and density of the fur. I got only 6 Mr. Hanky mice out of what should have been enough material for a dozen. The good material was fine, but a lot of the material was not. I'm going to try using natural rabbit strips in place of pine squirrel.
