Other than my new wading boots being a little stiff and heavy, they worked fine, and I'm happy. Felt is much more stable than rubber soles.

Studs are rugged and easy to install. I mixed them with the diamond studs on my Freestone boots and have had no issues with grip in streams.

As some may know this is one of the few wading boots that can be found in those XL sizes. I went with a size 16 and they fit perfect. Neoprene socks and feet aren't being crushed bu t tight enough that it doesn't feel like you're carrying buckets of water in your boots. Water drains out fairly quickly and they provide very good ankle support. Overall very happy with my purchase. Thank you The Fly Shop!
